Liverpool youngster Owen Beck made the brave decision to make a move to Portugal to progress as a professional at Prima Liga side Famalicao.
However, it seems the 20-year-old failed to adapt to life in Portugal and is set to terminate his season-long loan at the Portuguese club.
Nevertheless, the 20-year-old full-back seems to have already lined up a new club, somewhere he will be guaranteed to have more playing time and grow as a professional.
Beck will now reportedly join League one side Bolton with the full-back visiting the club’s training ground this week, according to the Liverpool Echo.
Owen Beck will return to England this week after a brief spell at Famalicao. Understand #BWFC are currently leading the race for the #LFC youngster, with their style of play a massive attraction. Despite interest from elsewhere in England, the deal should be finalised tomorrow.

Beck will join academy teammate Conor Bradley at Bolton, who has made a terrific start to life at the University of Bolton stadium.
Bradley has already scored two goals and provided two assists in nine appearances for Bolton this season.
It’s a shame that Beck couldn’t get settled in Portugal, it was a bold move to make and would have added a different string to his bow, rather than the traditional move to a lower league English team.
Hopefully, he can get a good run of games in Ian Evatt’s squad and come back to Merseyside a much-more rounded talent than he already is.
