Over the last 48 hours, there have been numerous rumours of Kylian Mbappé wanting to leave Paris Saint-Germain F.C. as he feels betrayed by the club hierarchy.

It is not news that he would like to join Spanish giants Real Madrid. However, Paris Saint-Germain F.C. has said they will sell him to anyone other than Real Madrid. And that is where the link to Liverpool has been revived.

According to a report in the RMC Sport, the rumours are that the bridges have been burnt really badly and that the French superstar is ready to leave Paris Saint-Germain F.C. as soon as the upcoming transfer window in January 2023.

Liverpool has been linked to him for some time now. According to Journalist Santi Aouna, the football club that showed keen interest and quoted around €400 million for the services of Kylian Mbappe in the summer transfer window was Liverpool.

Now this will make all Liverpool fans’ eyes light up, and their heart warms up. It would be a dream signing for the club. Jurgen Klopp and Mbappe have publicly spoken about their admiration for each other. A lot of Liverpool fans are debating whether a player swap + cash deal involving Mohamed Salah for Mbappe makes sense. Salah will be 31 at the end of this season and will have two years left on his deal.

It is only fair if Mbappe in a Liverpool shirt and Erling Haaland in a Manchester City shirt fight for titles and golden boot awards. It is something that football fans deserve to witness.

Mbappe, last season, during an interview, mentioned, “I talked to Liverpool because it’s the favourite club of my mum. My mum loves Liverpool. I don’t know why you will have to ask her.”

Whether the transfer of Mbappe from Paris Saint-Germain F.C. to Liverpool will happen, only time will tell.
