Plenty of Liverpool fans let rip at striker Divock Origi after his performance during his side’s 2-0 win against Aston Villa on Sunday.

The Reds made hard work of the victory as the Premier League champions secured three points at Anfield as they extended their perfect home record.

Goals from Sadio Mane and Curtis Jones deep into the second half spared their side’s blushes and maintained their charge of finishing on 100 points this season. However, there was one player during the encounter that the Anfield faithful were disappointed with.

Should Divock Origi be sold in the summer?

Origi was substituted at the hour mark and struggled to make an impact from an attacking point of view. During the affair, the £14.4m-rated man did not complete a single cross, won just one duel, had no shots on goal and received a match rating of just 6.6, as per Sofascore.

Unsurprisingly, supporters were not impressed with Origi and made their feelings clear on social media. One fan said that “enough is enough” concerning the number of chances he’s had to perform, while another believes he is “not at that level anymore”.
