Plenty of Liverpool fans have been paying tribute to former Reds striker Milan Baros after he announced his retirement from football.
The 38-year-old FC Banik Ostrava striker called time on his playing days after he declared he would hang up his boots after he said that “the head would like to, but the body has already said stop”, cited by BBC Sport.
The 93-cap international was at the heart of the Reds’ Champions League-winning campaign in 2005, where they came from three goals down to lift the famous trophy in Istanbul.
Will Milan Baros go down as a legend at Liverpool?

During his time at Anfield, Baros scored 27 goals and provided seven assists in 108 appearances and with over 6000 minutes under his belt, as per TransferMarkt.

Fondly remembered by many Reds not just for Istanbul but for winning us all loads of money when he was ludicrously overpriced at around 50/1 to 66/1 to win the Golden Boot at Euro 2004, which he did. Cheers Milan 🍻 https://t.co/pwyk3U0lyl

Truly the end of an era now that Milan Baros is retiring.
Earliest Liverpool player still playing, having made his debut in March 2002.
The last of the Heroes of Istanbul still plying his trade.
Happy retirement Milan. You’ll never walk alone. #LFC https://t.co/XdXejNfnkB
