The understanding between the two midfielders was phenomenal to see, along with another Liverpool target in Declan Rice.

Many Reds across the world will be getting really excited over the sight of the two performing well together, and the celebration after Henderson’s goal has got Liverpool fans even more excited.

Liverpool full-back, Trent Alexander-Arnold, was named on the bench for the match but was an unused substitute and didn’t end up playing a part in the victory.

Gareth Southgate’s side will now face France in the last eight following the French’s 3-1 win against Poland as they look to take a huge step towards the chance to lift the World Cup for the first time since 1966.
