Many Liverpool fans have been hoping to see their club make a move for Jude Bellingham in the upcoming January transfer window.
However, Jurgen Klopp doesn’t seem to fancy his sides chances of securing a deal for the English wonderkid next month.
Speaking in his pre-match press conference ahead of Liverpool’s clash with Aston Villa, the Reds boss laughed off the prospect of signing the 19-year-old in January.

Klopp’s response to the rumours seem to suggest that a move will not be possible until the summer transfer window, in June most likely.
Similarly to Liverpool, Borussia Dortmund have suffered from a frustrating start to the season, leaving them currently sat in 6th place in the Bundesliga.
This most likely means that Bellingham will be needed to stick around for the rest of the season to try and help his side qualify for next season’s UEFA Champions League.
It is more likely that Liverpool will turn their attention to the likes of Fiorentina’s Sofyan Amrabat or Benfica’s Enzo Fernandez in the January windiw, rather than Jude Bellingham.
I’m sure Bellingham will remain the Reds’ top transfer target for the summer window, which gives Liverpool fans around the world something to look forward to in the months to come.
