Jurgen Klopp to reach historic milestone against Chelsea

|

Liverpool face Chelsea in the Premier League on Saturday, in what will be Jurgen Klopp’s 1000th game as a manager.

The German has had an ilustrious career as a coach, winning promotion with Mainz, winning the Bundesliga twice and reaching the Champions League final at Dortmund before winning every trophy possible at Liverpool.

One of the most impressive stats behind Jurgen Klopp is the win percentage he managed at each club, improving every time.

At Mainz, despite having the smallest stadium and budget in the Bundesliga, Klopp managed a 40% win rate over his seven year spell at the club, which was massively impressive.

That landed him the Dortmund job, where Klopp stayed from 2008 to 2015.

At Dortmund, he managed a 56% win rate before achieving a massive %60 win rate over his seven year spell at Liverpool so far.

In total, Klopp has managed 999 games, winning 538, drawing 239 and losing 222.

Over the course of his career, the German has won three league titles, one Champions League, one Club World Cup, three domestic cups and four other trophies such as Super Cups.

Not bad, especially considering he has also reached four Champions League finals but has found himself on the receiving end of a couple of really unlucky defeats.

Hopefully, Klopp will stay at Liverpool for many more years and add some more trophies to his already full cabinet.
