In a new report emerging from Italy today, it is being suggested that Italian giants Juventus are exploring a swap deal involving Liverpool’s Roberto Firmino and their 27-year-old midfielder Adrien Rabiot.

According to CMW, Juventus would be keen to open talks over a possible swap deal for the France international involving Roberto Firmino.

Rabiot is being linked with a move away from Italy this summer and it has been reported that several Premier League teams are interested in bringing him to England, including Liverpool.

Nevertheless, there have been no reports suggesting that Liverpool has any intention to sell Robert Firmino during this transfer window, so a swap deal involving the two is slightly far-fetched.

Like Firmino, Rabiot is about to enter the final year of his Juventus contract and the Italian club are eager to get whatever money they can before they would have to lose him on a free transfer in 2023.

If the swap deal rumours are true, Liverpool should be looking for some cash involved, Roberto Firmino is a prized asset and more than proved his value to the squad last season.

However, we think it’s pretty much safe to say this one won’t be happening, Liverpool have already let one of their famous front three leave this summer in Sadio Mane and it’s unlikely they would let another go.
