Christian Eriksen is available on a free transfer this summer and the 30-year-old midfielder would provide Liverpool with a much-needed midfield option.
The classy Dane has plenty of Premier League experience, spending years perfecting his craft at Tottenham and became a focal point of newly promoted Brenfords midfield last season; churning out impressive performances week in, week out.
It’s this very form that makes a move for the 30-year-old so appealing, however, if Liverpool were to make a move, they would face stiff competition from several Premier League sides for his signature.
Reports suggest Manchester United, Tottenham and Newcastle are all in the race to sign the midfield maestro, nevertheless, the Danish international has yet to make a concrete decision on his future, leaving the door very much open for a move to Merseyside.

Eriksen has proven again this season that he has the ability to mix it with the best in the game and a club that can provide him with Champions League football will ultimately be the destination he chooses; something the Reds can offer him.
Jurgen Klopp’s team desperately need to bolster their midfield for next season, and despite Eriksen’s age, he would be more than a solid squad option to bring in and sure things up when needed.
Whether Liverpool choose to move for Eriksen or not remains to be seen, but a short-term deal for the midfielder who is still at the peak of his powers is worth considering.
