According to a report from Goal, Liverpool could be looking to bring in defensive cover for left-back Andrew Robertson if the ‘right player‘ becomes available – with Norwich City defender Jamal Lewis currently ‘well thought of‘ among other candidates.
Lewis, who has started 24 league games for the Canaries this season under Daniel Farke, perhaps one of the bright sparks during their failed fight against relegation, has been mentioned as a potential Reds target along with Bournemouth defender Lloyd Kelly.
Which left-back should Liverpool sign to cover Andy Robertson?
Jamal Lewis
Lloyd Kelly
Nobody, give Adam Lewis a shot
Currently rated at around £20 million according to a recent report from the Belfast Telegraph, Lewis could become Northern Ireland’s most expensive ever player if the Reds were to make a swoop – with some Liverpool fans on social media certainly hoping we do take the plunge.
Begging sporting director Michael Edwards to sign the player by proxy, supporters have lauded the 22-year-old as an ‘insane‘ would-be addition under Jurgen Klopp at Anfield.
