Rumours that 30-year-old Liverpool forward Roberto Firmino will join Juventus have gained traction over the past few days, with reports suggesting the Brazilian is ready to leave Merseyside.
With the arrivals of Diogo Jota and Darwin Nunez to join Liverpool’s fearsome frontline, Firmino has fallen down the pecking order in Jurgen Klopp’s squad.
Firmino would join Sadio Mane in leaving the club this summer, with the Senegalese striker joining Bayern Munich earlier in the window.
According to Italian news outlet Corriere dello Sport, Juventus are ready to bid £19 million for Firmino and want to capitalise on the forward’s contract ending next summer.

With the Brazilian international only having one year left on his contract, it would make sense for Liverpool to cash in whilst they can.
Nevertheless, with the season only a few weeks away, there would be little time to find a suitable replacement and the Reds could really do with Firmino’s experience this season.
Juventus were also rumoured to be trying to tempt Anthony Martial away from Manchester United, however, a move for Firmino would all but end this interest.
Firmino made 35 appearances in all competitions last season for Liverpool, scoring 11 goals and assisting 5, Transfermarkt value the forward at £28.80 million.
