Liverpool are certainly in the race to sign Borussia Dortmund starlet Jude Bellingham, but according to a top journalist, the German club will do everything in their power to keep him.
Now, whilst it seems unlikely Liverpool will be able to convince the 19-year-old to a switch this summer, it seems almost certain that Jurgen Klopp will make a move for the midfielder next year.
Sky journalist Uli Koehler spoke about the situation via Football Daily, claiming Dortmund rate Bellingham so highly, that they’ll do anything to keep him at the club.

“They’ll (Dortmund) put everything in it to keep Jude Bellingham, he’s an incredible player,” stated Koehler.
Koehler went on to say how highly regarded Bellingham is in Germany and that whenever anyone new joins the club they are astonished by his talent.
“Whoever is joining now in Dortmund they say “what a player that Jude Bellingham, this guy is so young and so good.”
It’s this very talent that means Liverpool won’t be the only club in the race for Bellingham’s signature; it’s likely the club will face stiff competition from Real Madrid, Chelsea and Manchester United.
This seems like a saga set for next summer, however, if Bellingham continues his impressive form, his price tag will only rise higher; Dortmund are sitting in the perfect position right now.
