With kickoff against Deportivo Saprissa in the World Club Championships only a day away Liverpool boss Benitez is looking forward to the prospect of winning his second major trophy as manager and a trophy that no other Liverpool manager has achieved.

It’s clear to see that the boss is taking the competition seriously and rightly so, it’s not every day that you have the chance to officially become the best football team in the world.

Ahead of the game Benitez said: ‘I will prepare them as best as I can for the tournament and hopefully we will be successful. This is a very big tournament and we are going to try and do our best to win it.’

And he wants the fans to be able to see the trophy in the already bulging trophy room by adding: ‘It’s a beautiful trophy and we want to bring it back to Anfield.’

With Benitez set to put his strongest XI out against Saprissa, and with the Reds being clear favourites to win the competition, it’s hard to see any other result than a Liverpool win.
