Dortmund star hints at potential Liverpool move

|

Rumored to be a Liverpool transfer target, Borussia Dortmund wonderkid Youssoufa Moukoko has dropped a hint regarding his future.

The youngster has been linked with a move to Merseyside in recent months since his current contract is set to expire in the summer, with the Liverpool Echo heavily reporting on the transfer rumour.

A fee of around £25million has been rumoured should a club make a move for the striker in the January transfer window.

The 17-year-old has been in fine form for Borussia Dortmund so far this season, scoring six goals and setting up another six goals through assists.

This has led to the teenager being called up to the German national team for the upcoming Qatar World Cup.

In a press conference for the Germany squad, Moukoko said: “I feel very comfortable at Dortmund. I feel the confidence of the coach. You’ll find out in the end whether I decide to stay or not.” (Liverpool Echo)

Should Moukoko go onto score for Germany at the World Cup, he will become the youngest goal scorer at the World Cup since Pele scored for Brazil as a 17-year-old all the way back in the 1958 World Cup.

It’s definitely worth keeping an eye on the progress of the teenager at the World Cup as a move to one of Europe’s elite clubs is beginning to seem inevitable.
