Liverpool make a quick turn around in the Premier League with them set to face Manchester City at Anfield on Sunday in a crunch game that could leave a defining mark on the season ahead.
With that comes the agonising task of knowing which of the Reds squad will be fit for the fixture with the hopes that we will have our best possible XI ready and fit for the game. Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp gave us an update yesterday on some of the injured individuals in the squad with some possibly in contention for a return against City this weekend.
The LiverpoolEcho reported on Klopp’s comments with £162 million rated duo of Sadio Mané and Fabinho a real possibility to return in time for the fixture which will be a huge boost for the squad to have two such important and valuable players back in the matchday squad.

Fabinho has been absent for our past three games against Tottenham, West Ham, and Brighton due to picking up a knock prior to the game against Spurs – with the makeshift centre-back proving a pivotal part of keeping the Reds together at times during a tough run of games over the winter period.
Senegalese winger Mané picked up a minor muscle injury prior to our game against West Ham last week and also missed Wednesday’ loss to Brighton but he too could be back in time for the game against City which will give us a huge boost for the game in attack after our exploits going forward have been somewhat stagnant this season and I think we really missed Mané’s grit and tenacity going forward against the Seagulls.
Hopefully, the pair will be fully fit for Sunday and we will see them start the game to help get the Reds back on track in a must-win game that could give the squad a massive boost of confidence.
