Today marks 23 years since the Hillsborough tragedy in which 96 fans died during the FA Cup semi-final between Liverpool and Nottingham Forest in Sheffield.
The club is marking the occasion with its annual Memorial Service that takes place at 2.45pm BST, with access to the stadium from 1pm if you are attending in person. If you’re not attending the service at Anfield you can follow it free on LFC TV and online through the club’s official website.
To mark the occasion, LFC TV is free online throughout Sunday and will also be showing a number of compelling documentaries and programmes relating to the disaster.
