Reds striker Daniel Sturridge has been named the official Barclays Player of the Month for February…
Liverpool forward Daniel Sturridge has been rewarded for his recent form with the Barclays Player of the Month award.
The 24-year-old, who also won the prize back in August, helped the Reds to an unbeaten February with five goals in four league games.
The strikes were part of a run of eight straight Premier League games in which the former Chelsea man found the back of the net.
His overall record since moving to Merseysiders last January now stands at an impressive 32 goals in 40 appearances.
Sturridge recently won the Vital Liverpool Player of the Month accolade and also received praise from iconic ex-Liverpool striker Robbie Fowler.
West Ham United’s Sam Allardyce was named February’s Barclays Manager of the Month.
