Which players are likely to be unavailable when Liverpool take on West Bromwich Albion this midweek?…

Speaking at his pre-match press conference on Tuesday, Kop boss Jürgen Klopp revealed that there are no major changes on the injury front from Sunday’s frustrating 1-1 draw with Everton.

That means the Merseysiders will again be without defenders Nathaniel Clyne (back), Joël Matip (muscular) and Alberto Moreno (ankle), plus midfielder Adam Lallana.

The latter three are all expected to return at some point during the busy festive period but Clyne is a longer-term absentee following surgery.

Daniel Sturridge could be available again despite a minor hamstring problem forcing him to sit-out the Merseyside derby.

Selection wise, Brazilian duo Roberto Firmino and Philippe Coutinho are both expected to return to the starting X1, and they could be joined by Trent Alexander-Arnold, Emre Can and Georginio Wijnaldum.

New West Brom manager Alan Pardew will again be without the services of experienced trio Gareth Barry (thigh), Craig Dawson (knee) and James Morrison (Achilles).

Widemen Nacer Chadli and Matt Phillips face late fitness tests but both are hopeful of overcoming hamstring issues.

Neither side has anyone absent through suspension.
