A lack of domestic cup action meant Liverpool only played four matches during February, the highlight of which was undoubtedly a 5-0 first leg away win over FC Porto in the Champions League last-16.
In the Premier League, the Reds played three times, remaining unbeaten with two comfortable wins and a dramatic draw with fellow top four contenders Tottenham Hotspur.
Jürgen Klopp‘s men continued their fine goal-scoring form with eight goals notched during the trio of February league fixtures, helping the club break the century mark in all competitions this season.
Defensively there were also signs of improvement with two clean sheets kept, including the European outing, and only three goals conceded in total across the four games.
The Vital Liverpool Player of the Month is determined by the accumulative votes cast in the individual MOTM awards for each Premier League fixture. In the event of no clear winner, the editor has the deciding vote.
