Liverpool will have to pay £39million for this midfielder

|

Liverpool have been linked with a move for Fiorentina midfielder, Sofyan Amrabat, and now they know how much the player would cost them.

This comes following a string of world-class performances from the player at the Qatar World Cup for Morocco, leading them to the semi-finals of the competition.

According to reports from The Liverpool Echo, the 26-year-old will cost the Reds around £39 million should they want to sign him in the upcoming January transfer window.

This would certainly make Amrabat a cheaper option for Jurgen Klopp to consider as he continues to look to improve and add fresh legs to his ageing midfield.

Other than the Morocco star, the Reds are only really linked with extremely expensive midfield options such as Jude Bellingham (£100m+), Enzo Fernandez (£100m+) and Moises Caicedo (£80m) which makes a move in January quite unlikely.

Liverpool will face competition from the likes of Tottenham Hotspur and Atletico Madrid to secure Amrabat’s signature, with the Moroccan opening up on his admiration for Atletico manager, Diego Simeone, earlier this week.

However reports yesterday were claiming that the World Cup star has admitted to people close to him that Liverpool is his desired destination and that he will look for a move to Merseyside.

This signing could play a huge part in turning Liverpool’s season around in the second half of their campaign.
