The Reds face a challenging few weeks ahead with a jam-packed schedule of games ahead of them whilst seeing seven first-team players on the sidelines – and it will be down to the senior players of the group to lead by example during this period.

One of those senior players in question is Sadio Mané, with the Senegalese starlet becoming one of the most important players for the club since joining in 2016.

In the four years he has been with the club, Mané has 86 goals and 38 assists after 181 games for the Reds – an impressive haul for a winger. During that time he has helped us to win the Champions League, UEFA Super Cup, FIFA Club World Cup, and most recently the Premier League title – becoming one of the vocal points in the team and being part of one of the most dangerous attacks in world football alongside Mo Salah and Roberto Firmino.

Is Sadio Mane our best player?

I think that Liverpool’s now £120 million rated winger must lead by this example during a tough period for the club. Injuries have plagued the start to the current campaign yet despite this the Reds still find themselves top of their Champions League group and unbeaten after their first three games, as well as one point off the top spot in the Premier League after 8 games.

He has shown us he clear goal-scoring ability and overall quality over the years and has managed to lead by example on many an occasion, but this time will prove as important as ever with the Reds losing one of their star front three players in Mo Salah for the next three games in England and in Europe.

The pressure will be on, but Mané has everything in his ocker o prove to the Liverpool faithful why he is the man to rely on when we need it most.

What do you think Liverpool fans, will Sadio Mané lead us through this tough patch? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below…
