FSG is reportedly looking to either sell a minority stake or the club in its entirety. Many parties from across the globe have been linked to the taking over at Anfield. The latest to be linked to purchasing the most successful English team in the world are the current owners of Paris Saint Germain, Qatar Sports Investments (QSI).

It has been reported that Qatar Sports Investments (QSI) has held discussions with multiple English clubs to buy them out or purchase a minority stake. They have spoken to Tottenham Hotspur, Manchester United, and Liverpool. They have discussed the possibility of either purchasing a stake in the club or buying them outright. These reports originated when David Hellier (@hellierd), a financial journalist at Bloomberg, wrote a piece about this and tweeted it out. He is a respected football journalist; hence, this story might have no smoke without fire.

It is reported that the Paris Saint Germain owners are pondering the possibility of either fully acquiring or investing in a stake in either Liverpool or Manchester United. This would be a significant development in English football. Both Liverpool and Manchester United fans will welcome owners who do not shy away from paying and bringing the best players to play for them.
