Liverpool have been making big moves in this summer’s transfer window, with three signings already made, one of which for a club-record fee of £85m.
However, an area that was highlighted for improvement after the season ended was the midfield and the Reds have yet to bolster this position thus far.
Nevertheless, reports suggest Jurgen Klopp has set his eyes on one midfielder; Borussia Dortmund’s Jude Bellingham and is willing to wait until 2023 to sign the promising young talent.
Signing Bellingham this summer seems out of the question, his current club Borussia Dortmund have already sold one of their best players in Erling Haaland to Manchester City and it’s unlikely that they’ll be willing to let another prized asset leave.
Liverpool have agreed £6.5m deal for Calvin Ramsay.
Takes summer spending close to £100m – and CONCLUDES incomings in this window.

It could be seen as a gamble to head into the new season without a new midfield recruit, but maybe it is better to wait out for the right player, especially one with the capacity and skills Bellingham possesses.
On paper, Jurgen Klopp’s side are stacked in the midfield with Jordan Henderson, Fabinho, Thiago, Naby Keita and the younger options of Harvey Elliott, Curtis Jones and Fabio Carvalho ready to make their mark in the first team next season.
This is also good news for out of favour Liverpool midfielder Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, who may now stay on at the club if there is more opportunity for game time.
