Liverpool often finds themselves linked with some of the best talents in Europe, with the latest name dropped into the mix no different from that.

Due to the current global climate, Liverpool target Jadon Sancho has seen his asking price slashed by parent club Borussia Dortmund ahead of the summer, with them cutting £20 million off of his price tag down to £88 million ahead of the summer transfer window according to SportBILD, via LiverpoolEcho – with the German club clearly anticipating for him to be snapped up.

The Englishman was linked with a move to the Reds last year and has been a heavy target for Premier League rivals Manchester United who even tabled a bid for the winger back in the summer of last year – but was unsuccessful in their attempts at securing his signature.

Could Liverpool snap up Jadon Sancho?

Yes, make it happen

At just 20-years-old, Sancho has grown to become one of the hottest prospects in world football over the past few seasons and this season has been no different. Having started the campaign slowly, Sancho has been the star of the show for Dortmund as of late and has 5 goals and 4 assists in his last 10 games in all competitions and has been a versatile asset for the club too.

Having played in six different positions already this season – Sancho has plenty of attributes in his locker that will appeal to Jurgen Klopp and his team, especially if any of the Reds squad were to leave in the summer but that is unlikely due to the current financial market.

I don’t think that Liverpool will act upon the news that Sancho has had his price tag cut but it is good to know that the market is dropping slightly ahead of the summer especially given the possible transfers we may see in the summer.

What do you think Liverpool fans, will the club move for Sancho? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section down below…
