Plenty of Liverpool fans have had their say over the years on defender Dejan Lovren, who has consistently been under the proverbial magnifying glass of the Anfield faithful.

The Croatia international is one of the club’s current longest servants, having moved to Merseyside for £20m in 2014.

Lovren, who appeared in the 2018 World Cup Final, has scored eight goals and provided five assists in 185 appearances for the club and has played over 14,000 minutes on the pitch in the famous red shirt, as per TransferMarkt.

Recently, club legend Jamie Carragher criticised him for all of the mistakes that he has made over the years, most recently during his side’s 3-0 defeat against Watford before the Premier League was temporarily suspended.

According to the Daily Mail, the Russian side Zenit St Petersberg are ready to offer £9m for Lovren in the summer, with the Reds wanting around £15m for the central defender.

Unsurprisingly, supporters were delighted with the report and cannot wait to see the back of the Croatian, making their feelings clear on social media. One fan urged the club to “take the money and run”, while another believes that Liverpool should “bite their hand off”.
