This season has been a tough one in the history books for Liverpool, with them tipped at the start of the season by many to retain their Premier League but have had a tough run of form as of late that has stunted their title run.

Recent form has seen the Reds take just 3 points from a possible 15 over the past five games as well as losing out 3-2 most recently to Manchester United n the fourth-round of the FA Cup – which hasn’t set the reds up too well for their Premier League fixture tonight against Tottenham.

However, in a recent interview with the club, Liverpool’s star man Trent Alexander-Arnold has opened up on the Reds’ poor form stating that the squad is determined to ‘put things right’ after our baron run, starting with getting three points against Spurs…

It is good to actually hear from Trent about the recent run of form and that the squad know they can be doing better given the types of games and much of the competition being easy wins in previous seasons, with no disrespect to them.

Again, given the form of the squad, they know that the season sits on a knife-edge at the moment with points not coming our way and the team not doing enough going forward to try and come back or take the lead in some of our recent performances.

Can Liverpool beat Tottenham?

Yes

Yes

No

No

The Reds took the lead early on against United on Sunday but failed to capitalise on the opportunity to kill the game in the first half despite enjoying much of the possession throughout the game. I am hoping that if the club can take the led early on again tonight against Jose Mourinho’s side, they will do what they need to win the game.

What do you think Liverpool fans, do you agree with Trent’s thoughts? Let us know your opinion in the comments section down below…
