The Reds face Brighton today with their return to Premier League action and the Seagulls have been handed a much-needed boost ahead of the game at midday.
Belgium winger Leandro Trossard made his return to training on Thursday, with the £18m winger not featuring for the side since their 1-1 draw to Crystal Palace in October. The news was tweeted by The Athletic reporter for Brighton Andy Naylor…
Team news: Trossard has trained and is back in the frame. Lallana needs more time (went off with groin tightness at HT at Villa). March felt his ankle slightly, but should be ok. #BHAFC

Trossard picked up an adductor injury during the draw and has to pull out of Belgium’s international games throughout November, giving him plenty of time to recover and train ahead of his return, which could be in today’s game against us.
The Brighton winger may have only scored 1 goal with 1 assist so far this season but from what I have seen, he has been a huge threat for Graham Potter’s side and has always been a positive attacking outlet in games.
Can Liverpool beat Brighton?
Yes
No
His performance against Manchester United at the start of the season was one of the most impressive yet unluckiest displays I have seen for some time. Trossard hit the post three times during the game making four shots and was so unlucky not to get himself on the scoresheet.
The Belgium winger also impressed in the game prior to United against Newcastle, where he provided an assist as well as hitting the post in that game too – he hit the woodwork 4 times in the space of two games and proved that Brighton have a great attacking outlet at their disposal this season.
If he does feature today, then the Reds will have to keep a close eye on him to minimalise any threat he may pose.
