When it comes to who will win the 2018 / 2019 Premier League title, I’m guessing I’d not be far wrong when I suggest that I see it as a straight race between Manchester City and ourselves.

Any thoughts I had of Tottenham Hotspur having a chance of winning the reference title have been dealt a devastating blow with the news breaking that their top scorer, Harry Kane, is sidelined until the middle of March, courtesy of ankle ligament damage.

But, that news could present Liverpool with a dilemma.

Tottenham Hotspur are looking to bring in a striker to fill the void left by Kane’s absence and the news vehicle, the Telegraph, infers that our Belgian striker, Divock Origi, could be an option.

However, with Tottenham Hotspur, if luck were to go their way, still having an outside chance of gate-crashing the title race, if we were to play our part in letting them have 23-year-old Origi, could we be in danger of scoring one of the biggest own goals in history?
