I don’t know how long last night is going to live in the memory for some fans.

For me, after the past two years that Jürgen Klopp and this team has given us the Champions League and the Premier League, they can afford to have one bad night at the office, so we just take it and move on.

There are a number of factors behind it, with former Red Stan Collymore’s Twitter poll seeming to put a large portion of the blame on the fact there are no fans in grounds, allowing for a more ‘relaxed’ atmosphere.

However, that doesn’t mean that we’re going to get away scot-free from some members of the media, as Henry Winter’s summation of the game seemed to indicate:

Are you concerned by last night's result?

Yes

Yes

No

No

My summary of that seems to indicate that he thinks the title race is wide open, and I think that will be a good thing.

We saw a couple of blips last season when the title was all but won, and even after that, so the fact that we might actually have some competition this season to keep us on our toes as we go again might actually prove to be a good thing in my mind.

What about you? What did you make of last night’s game and the impact that it could have on the season going forward?
