After Liverpool’s 4-0 win over Wolves in the Premier League on Sunday night, the Reds recorded their biggest league victory of the season so far, with plenty of big performances from Jurgen Klopp’s squad.

The club’s academy graduates produced more fine performances at the top level, giving plenty of hope towards the future of the club with some talented youngsters showing the fans just what they can expect in time.

Liverpool journalist DaveOCKOP tweeted after the game, highlighting the club’s current unbeaten run at Anfield alongside the current difficulties that Klopp’s squad is facing…

It is truly remarkable that the Reds have gone 65 games unbeaten at Anfield in the Premier League, especially the recent run of form with 31 wins from the last 32 games. Klopp has no doubt managed to turn Anfield into a fortress again and it will be incredible to see just how far his squad can push this record.

The current record for the longest unbeaten home run is held by Chelsea, who recorded 86 games unbeaten at Stamford Bridge between February 2004 and October 2008 – meaning the Reds need to go another 21 games unbeaten at Anfield to equal the record or 22 games unbeaten to break it.

DaveOCKOP makes a great point that even despite the current injuries to the squad with the club’s first-choice defensive pairing of Virgil van Dijk and Joe Gomez currently on the sidelines, the squad have continued this incredible run of form and the youngsters in the squad have more than stepped up to the plate for the Reds with great performances from Caoimhín Kelleher, Neco Williams, Curtis Jones, Rhys Williams, and Nat Phillips as of late.

We all know this Liverpool team is one of the best in the club’s history and for me they are an absolute joy to watch, so long may the unbeaten run continue.
