Liverpool midfielder Georginio Wijnaldum is still yet to rectify his contract situation at Anfield.
The 30-year-old has one year left on his current deal and has been a key part of the success of Jurgen Klopp’s side over the past two seasons, capturing both the Champions League and the Premier League during that timeframe.
With this in mind, clubs in Europe will be allowed to approach him regarding a Bosman free transfer come the start of January.
Replying to a supporter on Twitter, football transfer expert provided a short and sweet update regarding Liverpool’s stance on Wijnaldum’s future at Anfield.

During the current campaign, Wijnaldum has been one of the first names on the Klopp’s teamsheet and has scored five goals from 45 appearances in all competitions this season, per TransferMarkt.
The Dutchman usually occupies on the left of the central trio in the midfielder and has proved to be one of the most reliant members of the team.
