Lifting The Premier League Trophy Could Be An Expensive Moment For Some

|

Now let’s not count our chickens before they’ve hatched.

Although we’re extremely excited to see Liverpool sat at the top of the Premier League table, there is still a long way to go.

A lot can still happen as Liverpool supporters look to see their side end a 29-year-wait to be crowned top-flight champions again.

But the excitement such a feat could bring hasn’t stopped some supporters looking to secure tickets for the final Premier League game of the season, against Wolverhampton Wanderers, at Anfield on 12 May.

Many Liverpool supporters are hoping that is the day the trophy will be lifted high into the air.

But such excitement comes at a cost, with it being reported by the tabloid publication, the Mirror, that ticket agencies are intent on fleecing those supporters desperate for tickets with one agency, livefootballtickets.com, offering a pair of tickets for the aforementioned game for £11900, an astronomical price considering there is no hospitality involved.

But, to some, obviously seeing Liverpool lift that Premier League trophy will be a priceless moment.
