Sometimes a loan move can work wonders for a youngster.

Unfortunately, sometimes, a loan move just, for one reason or another, work out.

Take the case of our teenage striker, Ben Woodburn.

After putting his name in the record books as the youngest ever goalscorer for the club, the Welsh international would have been looking forward to a loan spell with the Championship side, Sheffield United.

Unfortunately, things didn’t go to plan with Woodburn unable to get the regular first-team football he was after.

As a consequence, the 19-year-old returned to Liverpool.

Now, according to the tabloid source, the Sun, the club are willing to listen to loan offers for the youngster for the remainder of the season.

However, after not enjoying much success at Sheffield United, the club needs to be careful as to who they loan the player to, although our referenced source does imply Hull City could be the destination.
