Liverpool linked with Egyptian youngster

|

Egyptian youngster, Ibrahim Adel, has been constantly labelled as the ‘next Mohamed Salah’ since he burst onto the scene in Egypt in 2019.

The 21-year-old has made 78 appearances for his current club, Pyramids FC, contributing with 31 goal involvements.

His impressive domestic form caught the eye of Egypt manager, Rui Vitoria, as the winger has went on to break into Egypt’s first team setup- making four appearances, three more than he made for the youth side.

The youngster also showed glimpses of his quality at the Olympics, making three appearances against Argentina, Australia and Spain.

Adel’s playing style is very similar to Mo Salah’s, with his very direct and quick dribbling constantly stretching opposition defences.

There is no doubt that Liverpool could work up a deal with Pyramids FC, as the player is only valued at a couple million pounds [Liverpool Echo].

With the likes of Takumi Minamino and Divock Origi both leaving the club in the summer, who were both versatile and talented forwards, Adel could be an acute piece of business for Julian Ward to look into.

Mohamed Salah’s insane achievements since joining the club have become common knowledge amongst football fans, now being labelled as ‘The Egyptian King’. Could we have a new ‘Egyptian Prince’ waiting in the wings for his time to shine?
