According to an update courtesy of Spanish outlet Sport, Liverpool are willing to sell six players in order to fund a swoop for Wolves winger Adama Traore as well as his teammate Ruben Neves – with the former attacking man currently on Jurgen Klopp’s mind as he plans to renovate the squad.

Traore, starting 22 league games under Nuno Espirito Santo this season, has seemingly impressed our manager enough to warrant consideration for a transfer swoop as Liverpool look to strengthen the squad ahead of next season’s inevitable title defence.

Wolves currently rate the winger at around £75 million as per Soccer Link, with this Sport piece claiming we are looking to offload Xherdan Shaqiri, Dejan Lovren, Divock Origi, Marko Grujic, Harry Wilson and Adam Lallana in order to fund a potential buy.

Would you sign Adama Traore for £75m?

Yes, bring him to Anfield

Described as ‘outstanding‘ by former Premier League striker Michael Gray, who claimed he’s a more attractive transfer prospect than Crystal Palace star Wilfried Zaha to talkSPORT, Traore has enjoyed a fine season where he has completed more dribbles than any Reds player as per WhoScored.

Even though defender Virgil van Dijk has ‘bossed‘ the player in recent seasons, there’s little arguing Traore would be a worthy coup if sporting director Michael Edwards and co opted to splash the cash.

However, if Klopp’s recent stance on big money moves is anything to go by, it looks unlikely we would be willing to shell out a potential £75m sum to bring him to Anfield.

Only time will tell whether we land the 24-year-old, but his recent accolades prove he may well be an asset.
