Liverpool target Jude Bellingham could be available for £60million

Liverpool’s long term midfield transfer target could be available for as little as £60million this summer, according to reports from The Daily Mail.

It is reported that the 19-year-old could have a clause in his Borussia Dortmund contract, similar to what Erling Haaland had which lead to his move to Manchester City.

This could be seen as good news for the Reds, making the move more affordable to their financial structure but could also be seen as a negative as a reduced price would no doubt result in even more competition from the likes of Manchester City and Real Madrid.

The Spanish side are currently expected to be leading the race alongside Liverpool for the signature of the midfielder.

Reds fans will be hoping that Jordan Henderson and Trent Alexander-Arnold can do a similar job to that of Virgil Van Dijk in convincing Cody Gakpo to join Liverpool instead of Manchester United.

Either way, it is crucial that Liverpool sign one of their midfield targets whether it be Jude Bellingham, Enzo Fernandez or Frenkie De Jong.

However, Liverpool need to proceed with caution as losing Fernandez to United and Bellingham to Madrid would be an awful situation to leave themselves in.

In my opinion, I have strong faith in the transfer department at Anfield as they have never really failed us in the past and always managed to beat other clubs to players, just like Gakpo 24 hours ago.
