This afternoon Liverpool welcome Crystal Palace, to Anfield, for a Premier League fixture.
Jurgen Klopp, with Manchester City not in action today, will be hoping that his side can extend his lead at the top of the table from four points to seven points.
However, the gaffer will be mindful that it was only a couple of weeks ago that Roy Hodgson’s side confounded the pundits by going to the Etihad Stadium and beating Manchester City in probably the shock result of the season so far.
Klopp will need to drill into his charges that, at this time of the season, complacency can be their biggest danger.

Hopefully, come the sound of the final whistle, Liverpool will be seven points clear at the top of the table thereby putting Manchester City under pressure when they travel to take on Huddersfield Town on Sunday.
