Liverpool’s new kit deal with Nike has already produced some stellar kits with the home, away, and third kits all proving to be popular amongst Reds fans and neutrals alike.

Recent rumours had surfaced over a new fourth-kit that would be released sometime this month in a tweet from LFCTransferRoom on Twitter thanks to source Footy Headlines, which all but confirmed that the release of the new kit was imminent…

However, it had recently been revealed by FootyHeadlines that leaked images of this fourth kit had been released and they revealed an interesting black pinstripe design on a white base, with dark pink, grey, and black sleeve and neckline/cuff detailing – an interesting look and same template as the current third kit.

One of the devastating aspects of the design, however, is that the Nike badge on the kit does not meet UEFA standards as it is larger than 20 squared centimetres and therefore would be too large for the kit to be used in professional tournaments, essentially making the whole point of the kit obsolete.

What are your thoughts on this kit?

Stunning!

Stunning!

Awful...

Awful...

FootyHeadlines did reveal that the manufacturers Nike could release a different match worthy version of the kit or that they wouldn’t be able to use it at all depending on whether Nike changes the design, meaning it could just be used as a warm-up top before games due to the UEFA regulation.

I like the kit, in all honesty, I’m a sucker for a pinstripe but it would be a shame to see this kit go to waste if the design is real and the badge is actually that big, so hopefully, Nike does something about it and make the logo smaller to comply with UEFA.
