Manchester United have emerged as the frontrunners to sign Jadon Sancho this summer over Liverpool with the teenage winger more open to a move to Old Trafford.

ESPN report that the prospect of regular first-team football under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is a more appealing factor to Sancho rather than a move to Liverpool where playing week-in week-out might not be possible with the Reds bolstering the likes of Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane in the attacking-wide positions.

Jadon Sancho is expected to leave Borussia Dortmund this summer with BILD reporting that the German giants will demand €140m (£123.75m) for the England international, who this season has again cemented himself as one of the best creative players in the division as well as in Europe, with the teenager registering 14 goals and 15 assists in the league this campaign.

Liverpool were mentioned in the aforementioned BILD report to be interested in Sancho, with Jurgen Klopp keen to add to his attacking ranks in the summer transfer window, yet a non-guarantee on first-team football is seemingly the deciding factor on to where the English teenager will move in the summer, and for the Reds, that could mean to their arch-rivals Manchester United.

Whilst the Red Devils have nowhere been near their best this season despite an upturn of results in recent weeks, the global pull the Manchester club have in world football is still one of the biggest in the game, and their need for a right-sided attacker could make them the favourites to sign Sancho in the summer.

Liverpool could do with an additional attacking signing in the summer, yet with their front three of Mane, Roberto Firmino and Salah one of the best forward trios in world football, Sancho will find it difficult to break into the system Klopp has spent years trying to perfect in execute, yet this could well see the Dortmund superstar fall into the hands of their biggest enemies.
