One of the biggest parts of Liverpool’s growth since Jurgen Klopp joined the club hasn’t just been the club itself but also the players that represent it – with many of the squad becoming some of the most valuable players in world football.

The general consensus is that players such as Mo Salah, Sadio Mané, Thiago, Roberto Firmino, Fabinho, etc, would possess the highest value given their type of position and coverage they get as players, especially the attacking individuals who dominate the games most weeks with their goals and performances.

However, for Liverpool, their most valuable player has come as a surprise after a recent update in regards to player values, with youngster Trent Alexander-Arnold now the club’s most valuable player worth between £90million and £120million, making him the eighth most valuable player in the world according to CIES Football Observatory, as cited by AnfieldWatch on Twitter…

When you consider how much Trent has grown since being promoted to the first-team squad and the player he has become is simply incredible. He has helped to revolutionise the right-back role during these early stages of his career and in my opinion, is one of the best passers of the ball in world football.

The fact that he started out as an academy graduate as well is even more impressive – Trent is a revolutionary talent and it is incredible that he has been created in our own back garden as a local youngster.

Will Trent Alexander-Arnold become the next Liverpool captain?

Yes

No

I like the fact that Trent is our most valuable player as it clearly shows the journey he has been on at the club so far and at such a young age, he can only get better from here.

What do you think Liverpool fans, is Trent your favourite player? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section down below…
