England star Declan Rice drops Liverpool transfer hint

|

England and West Ham United midfielder, Declan Rice, has dropped a few hints regarding his club future in a press conference ahead of the Three Lions’ last 16 clash with Senegal.

Liverpool have been linked quite strongly with a move for the 23-year-old in recent months, as they continue to look for possible midfield reinforcements.

In a clip from HaytersTv, Rice says: “I’ve been playing consistently well for club and I feel like I really want to keep pushing.”

The midfielder followed on with: “I see my friends who are playing in the Champions League and winning the big trophies, you only get one career and at the end of that career you want to look back at what you won and the biggest games you’ve played in.”

This certainly seems that Rice is looking for a possible move to one of the top English clubs to compete for trophies, which to me sounds like a move to Liverpool, Manchester City, Chelsea or Manchester United likely being at the top of his wish list.

Rice’s response has left many West Ham fans concerned on social media, with many predicting that the player will be out of the club very soon, with @westhamtransfers claiming “Yep. He’s gone.”

As a Liverpool fan, I think Rice would be a top signing for the Reds, but I would preferably like to see us go after a Jude Bellingham or a Frenkie De Jong first of all, a real number eight.
