Liverpool make their return to Premier League action this lunchtime with a trip to the King Power Stadium to face Leicester City after almost a week away from the pitch after their 4-1 loss to Manchester City last Sunday.

The Reds will likely be wanting to ump back into action and back to winning ways after the crushing defeat that has more than halted their attempts at retaining their Premier League title – with them now facing a fight for top-four with Leicester one of those clubs vying for a Champions League spot.

Sadly for the Liverpool faithful, we will be going into the game with another injury added to the list, with Brazilian midfielder Fabinho, who has become a makeshift centre-back this season, has been ruled out by manager Jurgen Klopp with a muscle issue and won’t be available for our game against Everton or our first-round tie vs RB Leipzig either, as cited by AnfieldWatch on Twitter…

I definitely think that we will be in a poorer position with Fabinho out injured given how reliable and important he has been so far this campaign – our defensive options have been hampered and the Brazilian has massively stepped up to fill that void.

Due to the injury to Fabinho we will likely see one of our new defensive duo start the game and I think it will be Ozan Kabak – the youngster comes with a bigger reputation compared to Davies and only has a short amount of time to prove himself to Jurgen Klopp so given that, I think the Turkish international will take Fabinho’s place in defence during tomorrow’s crunch game.

What do you think Liverpool fans, will Kabak start tomorrow? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section down below…
