Liverpool’s interest in Borussia Dortmund’s English midfielder, Jude Bellingham, is one of football’s worst-kept secrets. However, there is no doubt that there mutual admiration between the club and the player.
That being said, the burgeoning relationship between Trent Alexander-Arnold, Jordan Henderson, and Jude Bellingham at the Qatar World Cup has gotten Liverpool fans very excited. The three players have been pictured spending time on and off the pitch together.
Bellingham has formed a strong friendship with Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson and Trent Alexander Arnold throughout the World Cup campaign in Qatar. This is not news to the other players within and beyond the English camp. However, it is creating a buzz across fanbases across England.
On talkSPORT, Manchester United fullback Luke Shaw revealed that the teenager appeared to be ‘very close’ to the Liverpool skipper amidst the contact between the midfielder and Jurgen Klopp’s side. What Shaw said can be watched here on the talkSPORT YouTube channel.

Respected German Journalist, Christian Falk, who has gotten a lot of transfer news correct, has revealed via a Tweet that Liverpool now holds the reigns when it comes to the transfer of Jude. Real Madrid has now taken a back seat in the hunt for his signature.
Earlier in the week, Manchester United legend Gary Neville highlighted the relationship between the three players. On SkySports News, he mentioned, “You see Trent Alexander-Arnold going for a walk with him, you see Jordan Henderson cuddling up to him at the end of the game, and you think ‘you sneaky little s*ds’.”
It’s definitely a lighthearted joke. However, there is undoubtedly a worry amongst fans of rival teams that Liverpool now have one up on their clubs to sign the highly talented midfielder.
We’ll have to wait until the summer transfer window to see what happens. Dortmund has previously placed a price in excess of 100 million for the highly sought-after midfielder.
