After Liverpool’s 3-0 victory over Leicester City on Sunday, Reds manager Jurgen Klopp took to his post-match interview with Sky Sports to voice again his concerns over the match scheduling so far this season.
Football writer James Nalton took to Twitter to quote the German’s comments to Sky Sports about the current situation…
Klopp on Sky: "If you don't start talking to BT, we are all done. If we keep playing on Wednesday, and Saturday at 12:30, I'm not sure if we will finish the season with 11 players. I know you don't care, and that's the problem."

Klopp is rather cut-throat here in his post-match press conference, stating that broadcast companies don’t care about whether teams will have to face grueling schedules with games just days apart n different countries and different competitions – so long as they are played and the companies can broadcast the games with no issues.
Do you agree with Jurgen Klopp?
Yes
No
I completely understand Klopp’s frustrations here – this season the Reds have faced a tough schedule of matches, playing 14 games in just over 10 weeks, and that even includes an international break where there was a two-week break of league football. Prior to that, the Reds faced 13 games in just over 8 weeks, averaging at a game every 4 days.
The international break proved another let down for the Reds with them losing Jordan Henderson, Joe Gomez, and Mo Salah to either injury or illness – with the manager even admitting himself that he isn’t a fan of the international break and that it was a let down for the club with the injuries they sustained.
Klopp’s feelings on the matter aren’t new, with the German stating after the league draw against Manchester City his frustrations with the Premier League’s match scheduling this season – and it is evident that it has taken it’s toll on the Reds with their injuries so far during the campaign.
