Liverpool duo set to be left out of Champions League squad

Liverpool duo, Calvin Ramsay and Arthur Melo, are both set to be left out of Jurgen Klopp’s Champions League squad for the knockout rounds.

This news has been confirmed by UEFA after Liverpool journalist, David Lynch, reported on the possibility of the duo dropping out of the squad earlier today.

Naby Keita, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Cody Gakpo have all been added into the squad as Liverpool prepare to face Real Madrid in the last 16 of the Champions League.

Virgil Van Dijk, Roberto Firmino, Diogo Jota and Luis Diaz remain in the squad despite their recent long-term injury issues.

The squad announcement also hints at a possible return to action for wonderkid, Kaide Gordon, who is yet to feature for the first-team this season due to suffering a serious injury.

Goalkeepers- Alisson Becker, Caoimhin Kelleher, Adrian, Harvey Davies.

Defenders- Joe Gomez, Virgil Van Dijk, Ibrahima Konate, Joel Matip, Rhys Williams, Nathaniel Phillips, Andy Robertson, Kostas Tsimikas, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Isaac Mabaya.
