Over recent years, Liverpool’s front three of Sadio Mané, Roberto Firmino, and Mo Salah have proven themselves to be one of the most ruthless and talented forward lines in world football and were even voted as one of the best front threes in football during the 21st century.
Since all three have been at the club, they have scored 281 goals between them as well as 147 assists which is an incredible statistic considering they have all only been at the club since 2016 at the earliest when Firmino joined the Reds from German outfit Hoffenheim.
There is no denying the accomplishments and talent that we possess in attack with the three helping the club to Champions League and Premier League success in recent years but as of late, the trio have failed to fire on all cylinders with each other and their dip in form has certainly contributed to the poor results that we have been experiencing recently.

From our last three Premier League games, we have only managed 2 points from a possible 9 with draws against West Brom and Newcastle and last night’s loss to Southampton with just one goal across those three games which came from Sadio Mané.
Over those three games, Liverpool had a total of 45 shots with just 7 of those on target which clearly highlights a big issue with our front three who are failing to hit the target and make an impact over our recent games which has led to some agonising dropped points and poor results.
If the Reds have hopes of retaining their Premier League title then our attacking outlet is going to need to regain their form and get back to the standards that we know they can produce, otherwise, we could be looking at a very long and very frustrating season ahead.
