This season saw Liverpool’s debut campaign in their new Nike kits after agreeing on a multi-year deal with the American sportswear giants, leaving New Balance who had been the club’s kit manufacturers since 2015.

So far we have seen Nike produce four kits for the club including the home, away, third, and fourth kit dubbed as the ‘Air Max kit’, which cannot be used in professional competitions but has been more of a marketing tool rather than a practical kit. Initial feelings towards the kits weren’t hugely positive but after seeing the squad use them, the home and third kits have more than grown in popularity.

However, the club’s new kits for next season have reportedly been leaked with images of the possible home, away, and third kits circulating online, as tweeted by Liverpool reporter Dave OCKOP on Twitter which has caused quite the stir on social media with plenty of people offering their opinions on the three kits…

Despite the possibility and speculation over the three designs, according to reliable source and kit website FootyHeadlines after some evaluation and assessment, the three reported kits are actually fakes.

Initially, it was thought that the three kits were the real deal and plenty of the Liverpool faithful were big fans of the yellow third kit which highlighted a throwback to the 1982 yellow away shirt. The club has seen nods to the yellow kit over the years but the concept that has been doing the rounds is the best one so far.

What are your thoughts on this kit?

The club’s home kit does have some reliability behind it in terms of design according to FootyHeadlines with the likelihood of the club’s home shirt featuring the zig-zag pattern and colour scheme rather spot on – but sadly, the images doing the rounds are fake.

What do you think Liverpool fans, would you be happy with these three kits next year? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section down below…
