We all love transfer rumours, especially when you get to see Liverpool’s name mentioned alongside some of the best players in world football – and it has happened again this week with none other than Kylian Mbappé

According to Duncan Castle of The Times, as reported by Sport.fr, the club wouldn’t be opposed to offloading one of the current front three of Mo Salah, Sadio Mané, and Roberto Firmino to free up the funds to sign the 21-year-old at some point in the near future.

The £162 million rated Frenchman has lit up world football in recent years and has even been described as a guaranteed Ballon d’Or winner in the future.

This season already Mbappé has managed 7 goals and 4 assist in just 6 games in Ligue 1 – frightening numbers given his age and playing on the left-wing for almost half of those games this campaign.

Could Kylian Mbappé become a Liverpool player?

Yes

Yes

No

No

It is hard to think of Liverpool’s front three being dismantled and no longer playing alongside each other – and as a Liverpool fan, I wouldn’t want it any other way after what the three of them have collectively done for the club in recent years with us winning both the Champions League and Premier League.

The idea of Mbappé signing for the club at some point is something that does excite me, however, and I know that at some point some of the players in our squad will want to move on to new pastures – and when that time comes I’ll respect it like I’d imagine most Liverpool fans would.

No matter the situation – it would be amazing having a player of that calibre join the club and would really cement us as the place to be for the best players all over the world.

What do you think Liverpool fans – could the club sin Mbappé at some point? Let us know in the comments section below…
