Earlier this afternoon it was confirmed by manager Jurgen Klopp during his press-conference that Mo Salah would be available for contention for tomorrow’s game against Atalanta in the Champions League.

The news brings positive reinforcement for the Reds who missed the Egyptian during Sunday’s clash with Leicester City in the Premier League after the winger tested positive whilst on international duty with Egypt.

The club Twitter page tweeted the news much to Liverpool fans’ delight – with the return of the winger now reducing the Reds’ absentee list even further…

I think the news is fantastic for the club – just yesterday it was that Salah has returned to training after producing a negative test and clearly the player is still in fine form and fitness to be made available for the game tomorrow night against such strong opposition.

Would you start Salah against Atalanta?

A front three of Sadio Mané, Roberto Firmino, and Diogo Jota was more than enough to hold off Leicester, with the three producing a fantastic attacking performance on Sunday, but with the now return of Salah, there is hope from myself that we will get to see the four perform in full throttle together against the Italian side tomorrow – an aspect that really gets be optimistic for just how well we can perform going forward, especially with the talent we have seen in defence from some of our youngsters such as Nat Phillips and Rhys Williams this season.
