We all know that Liverpool have some of the biggest characters in football currently on their books, with the likes of Roberto Firmino, Joel Matip, and Andy Robertson just to name a few.

Having individuals with such huge personalities is a massive positive for the squad and their morale, with the Reds of late showing they are one of the most tightly-knit groups in world football with such strong winning mentalities. This has been proven with the club enjoying Premier League and Champions League success over the last few years.

One of the club’s coaches, Pep Ljinders, recently came out in an interview with the club when talking about Fabinho, that all three of the club’s Brazilian players in Fabinho, Firmino, and Alisson always put the team above themselves and that everyone in the club loves them – along with players such as Gini Wijnaldum and Jordan Henderson too, as cited by AnfieldWatch on Twitter…

It is true that the trio brings a great work ethic and drive to the squad, but the main thing they bring is an abundance of quality that is hard to rival compared to many other players in world football.

All Liverpool fans know that Firmino is a larger than life character and I can imagine that his personality and antics rub off on his Brazilian cohort as well as the rest of the squad which I love given that the need for a squad to work well together on the pitch is that they have to get along off of it.

Does Firmino deserve more respect from fans?

No

You can see on the pitch when the squad play that the trio is the sort to put others above themselves and all credit to them, as they have helped to shape the recent success alongside the rest of the squad.

What do you think Liverpool fans, do you agree with Ljinders? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section down below…
